I am a bubbly personality who loves a chat and I enjoy caring for others. I am also very hardworking and I enjoy being around other people.
The thing I enjoy most about being a carer is building relationships. I find this very important when working with others. As well as this, I like doing housework and spending time with my clients. I started off in a residential care home where I worked nights, I then moved to homecare over 9 months ago. I have trained in manual handling, I have completed the care certificate and have done courses in dementia training, cognitive behavioural therapy and domestic abuse. I have also worked with brain injuries, end of life care and young people. I have a wide range of skills but my main role within care is to help others live their lives as they want to.
